WEIRDNESS

On my way to work this morning i was trying to deal with the usual shitty traffic...i hate traffic... mostly just the stupid people driving but ive already gone off on that rant... but i pass this guy and see his arm. it was bare. so im thinking wow... its like 15 degrees... seems a little cold for a tanktop, but as i continue to drive up even with this guy... he had no shirt on. at all. in the winter. now what would make you drive around in the winter with no shirt on. does your heat work really well... and its stuck on high? do you like the way your nipples feel when they are really cold and hard? do you like the looks you get when people drive by and look at you like your retarded? do you sweat really bad and dont want your shirt to start stinking until like 9 AM?

i dont know.. but it was really creepy.

Cold

Where to start... first i hope everyone had a good thanksgiving... lots of turkey and all that. Mine was nice... very relaxing. I drank my share of Rum and Eggnogs on the turkey day... ate too much, and sat around watching football, miserable because i had eaten too much.

We did some driving to my in-laws, spent some time with them, witch is fun. I watched the debacle known as the Iowa state game at the bar on saturday. I cant really talk too much about it... its too hard. Lets just say im tired of seeing our coaches sit on a lead trying to protect it rather than going for the kill! Pussies!!!!!
I also played a few holes of golf on sunday. Very weird considering we had had snow just 2 days before

Going back to work after having an extended weekend really sucks. The motivation level is super low and everyone just looks like they dont want to be there. Im no exception. Christmas is fast approaching and i just dont want to work. I need to become a welfare slug... just sit back and let the government take care of me.

I went to watch the Clones play b-ball last night. I figured we would have gotten our asses kicked, but they won. it was nice. now i need to work. yeah!

ISSUES

I dont know if i should be talking about this but i guess i really dont care... its my blog so here it goes.

do you ever just have stomach issues for no reason... i mean cramps that lead to frequent toilet trips? i do...and it drives me nuts. one day i will eat something and everything is peachy... the next time i eat it.. BOOM... there goes my ass! im having one of those days today. i had a little leftover enchilada... the same as yesterday, but today my ass is gone... i left it in the toilet 3 times since lunch. sorry to let you all know about my bowel issues but i had to tell someone.

its thanksgiving in 2 days. i bought a christmas tree last night. it seemed a little early to me but we are going to be gone all weekend so we wanted to be able to have a good selection. i really am against decorating for christmas until thanksgiving is over, but i see it everywhere. people already have their lights up and turned on, plus ive even seen a few people with decorated trees that have the lights on. settle the fuck down people... take one holiday at time.

Clones

First i just want to say that this isnt just a blog about the Iowa State Cyclones... but i am a fan and go to the games. That being said they ended up having a decent season even after the 3 game meltdown... they are going to a bowl game... just which one. anyone who reads this please take a minute and follow this link to an article that leads to a petition to try and get the Clones to the Alamo bowl. it would be much appreciated! Clones!

That being said... its cold as hell... i dont like it. and bigfoot is a bastard. really. i know he is hanging out in my shed, i just cant catch him doing it. plus i think he has the code to my garage and is eating out of my fridge.

Weather

It seems i do a lot of posting about the weather... maybe because im uninventive and nothing better to talk about, or it could be the fact the here in the heartland in beautiful Iowa the weather is a bitch and mother nature for the most part is a whore.

Saturday we had warm temps and tornadoes... very, very unusual for november. Today there are say 6 inches of snow... is it just me or does that seem really fucked up. oh well, at least with the coming of snow, it slows down construction, letting me get caught up on my shit in that i have been putting off... maybe.

I think that im just going to take Bone's approach and not believe in weather. It seems to work for him.

Cyclones.. plural

what a weekend... one of the biggest games ever for the Cyclones and we win. plus if you add in the fact that we could all have died before the game it was pretty sweet. 50,000 plus fans tailgating and tornadoes hitting just miles away. needless to say when the cops are telling us to take shelter we continued to hang out and drink beer, while watching the stomr coverage on the TV. it was pretty cool, plus you couldnt ask for a better day. it was mid to upper 60's and windy... especially after the storms moved through.

the clones came away with the huge win, topping colorado in a defensive showdown. our defense scored more than the offense, so you really cant go wrong with that.

the only down side of the whole weekend was yesterday when i felt like i was going to die for a few hours. nothing like sitting around trying to decide if you will puke or not.

and by that i mean a veteran. these guys are the best, some have given the greatest sacrifice for us, but none should be overlooked. these men and women have served to make this country what it is... to make it so you can read this crappy little blog, and do whatever it is that you want.

Pounding

You know its going to be a less than average day when the first thing you notice when you get to work is that your heading is pounding... I mean like a bass drum in a trash can thumping. It can only get better

On the lighter side of life, im not dead or dismembered. I just forgot how to post to my blog. I suddenly remembered so here i am.

The Cyclones have a huge game coming up this weekend. The Buffs from Colorado will be invading the friendly confines of Jack Trice to try and put an end to our winning streak. We need this game for the program and the fans. I admit, when we were on the 3 game skid i was one of the people saying maybe it was time for a new coach... and im still not sure it that is true, but at least they pulled their shit together for another year. I will be at the game with bells on. On the bus. Partying like a rock star, trying not to freeze or get wet. Stop on by and play some knockers.
