Im not dead yet!

Really... im just a super lazy bastard. It seems as the year comes to an end I always just seem to go into a shut down mode. Must be the time change or the weather. Plus the days are flying by. Its already the middle of November, next week is Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and tax time and then its cold and snowy, so you just sit in the house like a slug. Hmmm, maybe i need a hobby.

Anyway not really much has happened here in my little corner of the world lately. Last weekend we had the family reunion/get together that my wifes family has every year. Last year at this thing was the infamous football injury that took me 4-5 months to recover from. A type 5 shoulder serparation really sucks, luckily nothing like that happened this year. just your typical getting drunk and hanging out. We did go bowling which i hadnt down in awhile. We took all the kids and everything. Really it was a pretty great time.

This weekend the Cyclones have a chance to get 1 step closer to a milestone that has been 92 years in the making. We actually have a chance to win a conference title! As crazy as that sounds it is within reach. The Big 12 north sucks this year and we seem to be coming together so go Clones and beat the Fucking Wildcats. I hate Kanas State.

I hope everyone has a good weekend, if you get a chance go check out Fat acCOUNTability an in depth look at 1 mans try to loose weight. Oh, hold on. He doesnt ever update becasue hes a lazy slug like me. Get on it Robby you chump!

Veterans Day!

Im sure im not the only one writing about this but i really feel strongly about it. If your out today and see someone in the service or a veteran tell them thanks, shake their hand, and really be sincere. These people have given themselves to the greater cause of freedom. They fought, killed, and died for us and this country. Their sacrifices have made it possible for me to sit here and write this, you to read this and do whatever else you will be doing today. For this i say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Thank you!

I read a few blogs regularly one of which is written by a vet. Eric over at Straight White Guy is a marine. Its a great read, go check it out and thank him for his time. I also want to say thanks to my nephew who is currently in the marines. He is training to be a sniper, a very cool thing. One of my best friends "Stinky" Dallas Yeager joined the Navy at the ripe age of 33. He is currently at sea on the Lincoln. Thanks D for being there for our country.

I just wanted to let all the vets know that they are appreciated even though sometimes, some people dont see it that way. The majority of us do.

VOTE BEEATCHH!

Get out and do it. Vote. That way you cant bitch when its over. Unless of course your uneducated or are voting for whoever your favorite rock group told you too. Then sit at home and be a slug. I dont want you to have a choice.

Sorry its been awhile, ive been fighting some nasty stomach bug and have had to catch up on work. Plus our bus died again. Anyone wanna buy it? Other than that not much new. Had a great Halloween, my daughter actually understood it this year and was super excited to get out and get some candy. It was fun to watch.

The cyclones are trying to pull their season together in spite of themselves. They play nebraska this weekend for first place in the Big 12 north. Go CLones!

Thats all i got. Im spent.
