In case your didnt get enough

I just figured I might as well keep going. I finished my yard barn last weekend and thought i would post a pic. Pics are fun
Just for reference the doors are 8 feet tall. Just a little shed for my junk.

I also figured i would put up a picture of my wonderful little girl. Dont let the clothes and the hat fool you, she is a little girl, not a boy with a mullet.

She totally has me wrapped around here little finger. Hope you enjoyed the small look into my life, if not screw you!

Vegas 2

Ok, sorry for the delay but im lazy.
On Saturday night we hit a restaurant that my wife saw on the food network, so we had to try it. Nine Steakhouse in the Palms. First off the Palms is damn nice, very new and owned by the Maloof brothers who own the Sacramento Kings. A lot of young rich and pretty people at this place. Dinner was great, we drank a bunch of wine and ate some great food. We even had smores, that you cook right at your table for desert. I highly recommend this place, but beware it is expensive. I don't know how much we spent on drinks but im sure it was a lot. Dinner for 6 with booze and tip $725. A little out of my normal price range. Ok a fucking lot out of my price range, but oh well, my kid will have to get a job to go to college.

Here are a few pics of us at dinner.

The whole gang, after 3 bottles of wine and assorted other drinks. I may have been a wee bit drunk.

The men.

The women.

After dinner on we headed down to Freemont Street. This is the old strip with some older cheaper casinos plus the light show which you really have to see if your in Vegas. Its about 3 or 4 blocks long above the street and they had a tribute to America playing. Really awesome. We ended up at some casino (i don't know which one. I was drunk) playing blackjack and drinking free booze. That really is the key to Vegas. Play some games and drink the free booze. We ended up winning some cash and played for about an hour.

This is were we were supposed to go to the strippers. Unfortunately we couldn't decide on what to do so no naked chicks were seen. Damn. So we headed back to our hotel and down to the outside band playing for more drinking. The band was decent, and a ton of people were out dancing and having a good time. I don't have any clue what time we got there but we ended up leaving at about 3 when the band was done. I had the best hot dog ever. (That could have been the booze talking) and we headed back in. From there I passed out.

Sunday

Thankfully no one decided to get up at the crack of dawn because I think that when I finally did get up at 10, I might have still been a little drunk. We had the all American breakfast of McDonalds. There is nothing like a greasy burger to right the ship. We headed to the Venetian to see the sites and start drinking again. Bloody Marys to cure what ails you. The Venetian is pretty cool, lots of cool shit like most of the other Casinos. We stumbled back over to Ceasars for lunch at Spago. Fucking place sucked. Food was ok, but the absolute worst service ever. We had to track down the manager to get our check. At least he knocked it in half. After that back to the pool for more fruity drinks and hanging out.

After we got cleaned up we headed over to ceasars again for dinner. Big place, lots of restaurants. We had dinner at Mesa Grill. This is a Bobby Flay restaurant. This was another great meal. A little expensive but great. (Only 4 of us this time. Tina and Ryan had dinner at the Eiffel Tower in Paris for there anniversary to commemorate getting engaged at the real Eiffel tower.) Dinner being done we had time to kill so we went back to the cheapness that was our hotel for a little blackjack. We got killed. The bitch dealer couldn't lose. Fucking hell. 3 days and im even, 40 minutes at one shitty table and im down $100. Oh well, it Vegas, your supposed to lose. It was time to go see our Vegas show. Cirque du Solei "O". This thing was fucking unbelievable. Its at the Bellagio and they had to build the theater for this show. It all revolves around water. The stage is a huge pool with platforms that raise and lower to create firm ground when needed. I cant even begin to explain the coolness that is this show. It was full of some serious acrobatics and diving. Awesome, I highly recommend it. After that was done we were kinda beat but it was only 12:30 so you cant go to bed, so we went to the piano bar at Harrahs for more booze and good times.

This place was great. 2 guys playing piano and singing. They would play nothing but requests and they were good. The whole place was singing and dancing. This little old man behind us was with a table of 6 older women. He had to have been hammered because he was dancing with everyone and then started stripping for this other table of woman. He was standing on a ledge fucking the window with some chick on the outside. Crazy shit, but it was a riot. We ended up crashing at 2:30 and had to get up at 6:30 so we could get our shit together and get to the airport by 8 to get through security and catch our 10 AM flight.

Im sure my account of what happened really didn't do it justice, but this trip was excellent. We had a great time, and would like to do it again. If anyone is thinking of going, do it. Really. Spend money and have a good time, you can always make more.

Here are a few more pics.

Vegas in a nutshell

What can i say... its Vegas... larger than life 24/7.

Thursday

We got in around 6 vegas time, checked into our hotel (The Imperial Palace) and headed out to get some dinner. The hotel wasnt great, but it was good enough to sleep in. It is right across the street from Ceasars, and just down from everything else. Really a great location. We ended up going to Margaritaville (Jimmy Buffets Restaurant) for dinner. Nothing fancy just a burger type place. The first thing i noticed was that no matter what i heard Vegas isnt cheap. 4 drinks, 35 bucks. WOO HOO. Bargin city. After dinner we headed down to the Bellagio to check it out and the fountain show. A definate must see. They have multiple shows so its different all the time, but its pretty awesome. Checked out Paris for a bit and then headed back to crash early. Tired from the trip.

Friday

Got up early...damn time change... and headed down to the buffet for breakfast. NOt bad, but they did have champagne on tap. Classy. We headed to the pool for a bit and then the woman went shopping and the men went down to the casino for the craps lesson. It was pretty decent. They showed you most of the ins and outs of craps. So of course we hit the tables. I think that we ended up playing for about and hour and i ended up pretty much even. I can deal with that. We to the Forum shops at Caesars... very up scale and out of my range, but cool to look at no the less. Had a little lunch and headed farther down the strip to do the touristy thing. We hit some more casinos and M&M world. 4 freakin floors of M&M shit. Who woulda thunk it. We ended up at the MGM. Very nice. Sat in the piano bar and had some more 10 dollar drinks. More shopping for the woman, and more gambling for the men. Except the tables there were all $10. Im cheap and that was too much. So we found some place that actually sold affordable beer and bought 2 cases and hoofed it back to the hotel. Had a little dinner and back to the cheap casino in our hotel. My brother and sister in laws showed up and we started drinking. Hung out until about 2 and crashed.

Saturday

Got up too early, hungover and wanting sleep. It didnt happen we headed down to the Mandaly Bay and hit the buffet there. It was excellent. We walked back up the strip hitting all the hotels as we went. Excalibur, Luxor, New York New York. On the inside i definatley think the luxor is the coolest. The woman once again went shopping and we went to the Boardwalk. It advertised $3 dollar tables. They had 1. This was the biggest shit hole of all time, but they had $3.75 beers. We sat in the sports book and watched some football, until my b-in-law asked some crazy old fuck about the baseball game. This guy wouldnt shut up. Kept going on and on about gambling, baseball, the goverment, the election. He was crazier than a shit house rat. I finally just went to the bar and let the other 2 fend for themselves. We headed back to the hotel and hung out at the pool drinking fruity drinks before dinner.

I will get back to it later... this is probably enough to make you want to shoot yourself already. Nutshell my ass. I will also try and get some pics up.

More later.
