Huh!

I really didnt think that it would go down like that... i mean i really thought that they would do it and go all the way. They fucking choked. Badly. The Broncos came out and got their asses handed to them... not like Carolina did, but bad enough anyway. I just got a new TV on saturday and i was pumped to watch the game in HD...it just makes it worse that i had to watch that debacle in glorius HD. I may cry. Oh well, i have to root for the the damn steelers now, which sucks.

the rest of the weekend was ok though... like i said, i picked up a new TV... a 37" LCD, which is pretty cool... we got Gilli's pictures taken on sunday for her 3rd birthday... she was awesome... she did a great job despite being sick and the pictures turned out great! we went out to dinner saturday night at Ge-Angelos in ames... which is owned by my wifes cousin. the food is great so if you get to ames, give it a shot.

thats all i have... i need to go get some steelers gear so i can get on the bandwagon like Robby!

One of those weeks

Its strange... how some weeks just drag on and on... and then sometimes they just fly by and its the weekeend again. Thats the way this one has been... i cant believe that it is friday already. I guess that if you stay busy it goes quick, even though i really havent been that busy at work, we seem to be doing something every night.

Monday night i went to the clone game and watched texas mop the floor with us on big monday... great exposure and one helluva an effort by the clones. Just a little note to the Cyclones... develop some sort of inside game or you guys are fucked.

Tuesday and thursday were both hang out at home nights, which is just fine as well.

Wednesday we had to go to tumbling class... my daughter turns 3 in less than a month and this is the second tumbling class we have done. She loves it. She is one of those kids that really arent afraid of anything and she will try jut about everything, so she does really well at tumbling. They have little bars for the kids to hang and swing on so its fun for her. Plus after watching all of the other kids that dont listen, pain attention, or are just plain brats, i fell pretty good about my little monkey.

Hope every one has a great weekend, as for me i plan on getting at least half looped on saturday night at A GENERIC PARTY I WILL BE ATTENDING... i will let my wife and mother-in-law take care of me!

Work Sucks

Not really... but being gone for 11 straight days tends to make you not really motivated. I have a shit ton of work, but none of it looks like fun, but hey, not more holidays until like forever.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas, ours was great. It typically is. We went to my parents and spent the weekend. My folks are older and laid back, not a lot of excitement there, although i did get into a card game with my pops and some of his buddies... i ended up taking some of their money so thats cool!

We headed up to my in-laws after that and spent 3 days there. They are a ton more fun than my parents, my wife's sister and her family come over from Chicago and we tend to party a little. We even got to do a little midwest skiing. Its not quite Colorado but it satisfies the urge to ski.

We got some cool stuff for Christmas and Gilli made out like the bandit she is. We hand to rearrange toys to get the new stuff in and pack up some old. Compared to the rock and the stick i had growing up, this kid sure has it rough.

Hmm.... what else... oh yeah... the Cyclones suck... the got beat in there bowl game, but i got drunk that night so that was cool. Other than that not much is new, just dreading the start of the day, until i can get back into the swing of things.

I probably should at least act like im working....
