Holiday Cheer!

First and foremost, Goose is drunk... i am not, repeat NOT a closet Chefs fan. I was just in a hurry. I hate the cheifs.. not quite as much as the raiders but close. Im starting to think that The Snake isnt the answer in Big D. He is so damn in consistent, watching the games is so hard because you dont know if hes gonna be awesome or fuck it up. Oh well another year of missed playoffs. You have to take the good and the bad.

This is my last day of work until after the new year... it will be a much needed and appreciated break. We get to see my family and my wifes. I will get to ski and a little ski hill, play some poker with my inlaws and just hang out and watch some football. Its all about spending and enjoying time with family and friends. So with all that being said, I most likely wont be posting much until im back to work. Im a slack ass and do most of my posting here. Its just easier since i sit in front of the computer all day, and you always need to take a little break or you go nuts.

Cheifs v. Broncs

Just a little shout out to the Goose. His favorite team is playing mine this weekend in a divisional show down that means absolutely nothing to the Chiefs and everything to the Broncos. Hopefully the Broncs can suck it up and play a complete game and get into the playoffs. This should be a great game because it always is. Go Broncs... fuck the Chiefs.

As for other things, this weekend we are having Christmas at our house since we travel all over hell during the actual weekend. It should be a great time now that my little girl understands how to open presents. I know its killing her to see them all under the tree and she cant open them.

No rest for the wicked

As my faithufl readers know my lovely wife and I went to Vegas in October for our anniversary and some other little celebrations with our family. It was a great trip. We had our company Christmas party on Saturday night and our most excellent bosses have sprung for another trip to Vegas. For the entire company! Its fucking insane, but since they are buying it, then i guess i have to go. Poor me!

So i get to make my 2nd trip to sin city in less than 6 months at the end of january. To top it all off we have some close friends that are getting married in october in Vegas. So i may be heading back out then. Damn, thats a lot of sin!

So mad props go out to my bosses for the sweet present! Thanks boys!

A ipoding i will go.

We kept the ipod. The tivo sounded super cool, but the hassle of switching owners and having to pay the monthly fee scared me away, so we are keeping the ipod. Tonight i start to put all my music on it. Hopefully it is fairly fast and easy.

On other fronts, the clones won a big game on Monday, beating Virginia. It was a game full of suspense, anger and some sweet dunks. If only we could make a freaking free throw. Idiots. Next up the Slugeyes of Iowa. Fuck the hawks. I hate their basketball team, mostly because of their shitty coach, Steve Alford. He sucks so i hate them.

Other than that, just working and passing the time until friday.

No deer for you!

It wasnt for lack of trying, that is for sure. Being one of the youngest in our group i must say that my job is to drive the deer, and drive i did. We hunt an area with many,many,many,many hills... and i walked a lot. I had 1 half assed shot but that was it. We ended up getting 5 deer on Saturday before i had to come home for my wifes company christmas party.

It was pretty decent, had a murder mystery going on, dinner, and then gifts for the employees... Her company does an awesome job of rewarding the employees. My wife ended up getting an ipod, which is nice.

Now its monday, im tired, and wish it was the weekend again. So please, carry on with your regularly scheduled activities.

My wife won an ipod and altec speaker docking station at her Christmas party... do we keep it or trade it for Tivo and a portable dvd player? Let me know your thoughts, since i have no experience with either one.

A hunting we will go!

Ok... Its that time of year again. I get to try and go kill Bambi tomorrow... I can wait. I didn't get to go last year because of my shoulder thing, but this year IM a killing machine. Its supposed to be really nice here tomorrow so it should be a good time.

Although I have to drive back home to go to a Christmas party in the evening so it will be a super long day, but it is the sacrifice you have to make for killing and drinking.

If anyone cares the Big 12 championship is tomorrow night. Root for the Sooners, I hate the buffalloes. Damn buffs.
