Mowing

I just finished mowing the lawn and putting down some weed killer. Now i meet be a little strange but the way a lawn looks right after you mow it is great... it really makes me feel like ive done a good job. Its a little weird i know but thats just how i feel...now i just need to get motivated to finish building my yard barn.

People suck

For those of you that read on a semi regular basis you probably have realized im kinda of a pessimist... maybe even a little bit of a whiner at times. Thats what i use this blog for... to bitch.

I hate people. Not all... but at least like 95%. This world needs a cleansing... we need to get rid of the stupid, ignorant, and just plain annoying. That would make me happy. Plus when everyone turns 18, there should be a mandatory IQ and common sense test. If you dont pass, then bang... your dead, thanks for playing, do not pass go and do not continue with your life.

It could be the bad day im having or the bad week... who knows, but if anyone doesnt like it, fuck them in their stupid asses.

Jumping off of a moving boat!

Well i did survive the bachelor party.  Good times were had by all.  We golfed, swam, and drank.... a lot.

I met Tim at college and he was in my wedding so I would consider him a great friend, so its nice to finally see him getting married.  We started the day with golf and booze.  A great combo.  It was a nice course in Minneapolis and I played pretty well so that was good.

The next leg of the journey took us to a leg just west of the cities.  Beautiful lake with a ton of people on it.  A couple of Tim's buddies had boats so we cruised over to a cove and dropped anchor with about 100 other boats.  People were swimming and boozing all over the place... there were hotties everywhere.  I figured that the water would be a little chilly since we were a little farther north but hell no!  Great temp, and where we parked the water was only 5 or six feet deep.  It was perfect for playing football and pounding beers.   These dudes on a couple of huge boats were fishing right where we were swimming and the both caught hug carp.  The one had to be 25 or 30 pounds... right where we were swimming... incredible.

We had some dinner and drank some shots... now i dont know about you but i bought 8 shots and it cost $40.... what a fucking joke... next time im going to ask about the price.  After dinner we headed back onto the lake to hit another bar.  Thats when i jumped from the boat... one of the other guys tried to throw the football into our boat from theirs... it didnt make it... so just as we were slowing down to go back for it ... i jumped.  If you've never jumped from a moving boat, do it.  Its awesome... especially if you going like 35... just jump off the back and ball up... you bounce... seriously.

We hit a couple of bars and headed for home about 12:30... i was wasted... 8 hours on the lake drinking non stop will put a hurt on you.

Overall i had a great time... saw a couple of buddies i havent seen in awhile and met some new dudes that were cool.

Bachelor Party

I officially RSVP'd to a bachelor party this weekend. One of my best friends is getting married in august and this weekend is the big shin dig. This is a guy that i have know since my first year of college, lived with, and was in my wedding. Plus he dated my wife before me. Weird i know, but he is finally settling down.

Anyone who knows him figured it would never happen... he has a huge fear of commitment whether he would admit it or not. I cant tell you how happy i am for him. He found a great girl that deals with his shit and keeps him in line.

So now we get to delve into the debauchery that usually befalls any bachelor party. It will be awesome, hopefully will get to see some fellas i havent seen for awhile plus get to hang with my boy Tim (who i never see anymore) and my boy Robby. A little golf, boating, booze and maybe some half naked women... you really cant go wrong.

Friggin hot!

Its hot... i mean its supposed to really hot and humid... the joys of summer in iowa. I cant bitch too much because i have a cush office job in the AC but when it gets hot the AC doesnt keep up in my area of the office so today its getting hot. I really dont miss working outside on days like today although on the nicer ones i sometimes do. Oh well... off to sweat some more and stick to my chair.

Damn... Ive been super busy so no time for posting... plus we went on a little mini vacation to my inlaws place. Now im back.

Its really nice to actually enjoy the company of your inlaws... i know a bunch of people that cant stand their inlaws but mine are pretty cool. We played a ton of golf and drank a bunch of beer so you really cant go wrong with that.

I need to catch up on all the shit i missed being gone so I will make time to write later, so please bear with me.
